BIO
McGyver is a bilingual MC from Canada / Netherlands. Since 2022 he teamed up with the legendary ONYX powered label 100MAD.
A bilingual lyrical force to be reckoned with, he is internationally known for his 5th place at World Freestyle Championships EOW Prague and being the first ever champion of Netherlands (2017). With a live reputation in Belgium, Czech Republic, Taiwan and China, he is has built a solid reputation all over the globe.
Madmatic
Whereas “Madmatic” (LP, 2019) put his bilingual style on the global map, "Carpe Orbem" LP consolidated the attention from the global underground and mainstream. The second single from the latter LP which dropped March 30 2020, "Hemisphere" produced by Large Professor, was the first Dutch song to have gained airtime on shows from legends such as: Chuck D (PEPR Radio), DJ Premier ( Live from HeadQcourterz), and Rap Is Outta Control (on Eminem's Shade45 SiriusXM radio station).
Currently, Madmatic vol 3 "Camillionizm" is close to being released. Featuring all time greats such as: Pete Rock, Fredro Starr, Large Professor, Craig G, Def P, Figub Brazlevic and many others! Get set for a trailblazin' landmark!
Two of the first singles '187' featuring Fredro Starr & ''89' produced by Pete Rock were widely received with global appreciation from platforms as: Rap Is Outta Control, Complex, PF Cuttin' EastNY Radio, Leedz List, Insomniac Magazine & Boombap Nation.

2016: a national 30+ show tour in The Netherlands with first ever Dutch rap pioneer Def P (Osdorp Posse, Amsterdam).
2010 - 2015: Active in the collective Classick (one classical orchestra & 6 MCs). The group toured in Shenzhen (China) in 2013 and performed for the King and Queen of the Netherlands during their inaugural tour in the country.
